week 1 lesson 1

 I do not think the school holidays should be one week because we need a break cause we would be stressed from all the work we do 5 days and 6 hours each day. i know when i am stressed is i will stop doing my work and get sleepy.

Slide the corner

 Hello bloggers,

This time We are Doing My prediction On the book. The book is called slide by the corner. My prediction is that he wants to be different then his family. He wants to drive a rally car and be a mechanic.He really wants to get a dog but sadly his mum and dad wont let him.I think hes Going to get a dog for Christmas because I reckon that's what happens in the middle of the book. My other prediction is i'm pretty sure He has siblings.

Slide The Corner by Fleur Beale

 Hey bloggers today we are doing a novel study. We got to pick a book, the name of the book is Slide The Corner. The author made an amazing paragraph on the back cover.

Hello bloggers today in our learning story we described what we did. we did this because it helps us with reading. before i end the introduction its the end of the term can i also have comments please. we had to share our learning story for poetic arts. hope you like it.

My Learning Story
Hurumanu:  Hurumanu 4
Name: Latoiya	Teachers: Bh, Ds, Sc, Ht, Miss B			Term 2	2020
Reflection: Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.
What We Did:   Weaving , with designed paper my strip was blue.  Water colour. With the water colour we did drip, splat, salt and blend. Maori designs with the maori designs we traced some maori designs. The characters were taniwha the rubbish
What I Learned:  I learnt how to weave. How to do tapa cloths. How to do maori designs.
My Favourite Part:  The water color because it was interesting and the drip was cool.  Drawing the maori designs because drawing is fun. Learning to weave.
My Next Steps: To listen better To do more work  If you get angry, don't disrespect the teacher
CARR Values:  Make a statement below describing how you showed each of our CARR values during this Hurumanu.
Commitment I was committed to listening  to the teachers when I was at school.		Achievement By completing the water colour collage.
Resilience I completed my maori drawing strip even though it was my first time doing it and I found it challenging		Respect Respecting the teachers by listening
Any other comments I was sick for most of this hurumanu so I only completed my watercolour collage, the haiku poem and the diamante poem

How to stop the spread

Today in homeroom we are doing a poster about covid 19 and how to stop the spread

This talks about what u need to do i couldn't do much on it but you need to stay safe. in are school we stay atleast 1 meter and the cafe is a no go to eat u can only pick your food up and the learning commons are a no go to . we also  have hand sanitiser stations the parents must stay in the car

I done blue which is tell the class something your pet did in lockdown. My pet dog and cat went physio by jumping up and down and pouncing. i enjoyed time with my pets. my cat started catching moths and my dog started playing with the cats.

Covid19

Hello Readers My Name Is Latoiya.Today im talking about covid19.
Well time has come we are on lockdown starting wednesday because of coronavirus people are getting worried and are bulk buying. there is like no toilet paper,soap,bread and lots more the only places we are aloud are supermarkets,some shops also there are going to be police and army people to stop cars and see where use are going if use are going to a mates they will say turn back around for my perspective I,m nervous me and my family at my house are getting some board games and seeds and soil and paint so we aren't bored on lock down i think we will be ok just try and think positive not negative.

Breakfast time

Today I'm talking about my breakfast.

Materials:
Pan
Bacon
Eggs
Tongs
Spachler
Toaster

Ingredients
2 eggs
2 pieces of bacon
2 pieces of toast
2 hash browns

Steps: Grab the bacon put it in a frying pan. Put the bacon on a plate then grab eggs and put them in a frying pan. While there cooking  put  hash browns in the oven when there nearly done put the toast in. everything's done so now put them on the toast.put some pepper and salt then eat it.

Conclusion: Be careful because the bacon  might spit and it will hurt you I recommenced to put it on low.

Today we are going to do an experiment

Aim: To find out which colour attracts the suns heat.

Hypothesis:

Materials:

1.  Heat lamp
2.  X1 plastic cup
3.  X2 strafom cup
4.  themometer
5.  white paper 
6. tinfoil

Steps

1.  Get 3 cups
2.  put the tin foil cup on the tin foil
3. put the plastic cup on the plactic
4. put the white cup on the white paper
5. pour the water in the cups 1/4 way
6. turn the heat lamp on and put it in front of of all the cups 
7.  put a timer on for about 15 minutes
8. when that 15 minutes are done put the themeter
9. do all of the other cups
10. record your findings
11. lastly do your conclusion

Rules of dodgeball

Dodge ball is a game with 2 teams.

Those teams throw balls at each other and try and hit them.
