On Friday we went to the marae it's called Ngati Moki when I got of the bus and waited at the gate. we got a song it was a welcoming on the marae.Then we walked slowly and we went in the marae. we stood near the chairs then sat down .Then had kai .then done are mihi. then played on the playground. then went inside .then had lunch.
then went to the church and looked at the cemetery.
we tried looking for this 102 lady the. people who were there Fiona and Uncle Pat and 2 others the man greeted us. and Mr Wilkinson talked. we also pressed noses.
it was kind of weird .but we had to do it I liked it a we bit.
I did not know how to do it. but I done well. I love the marae
